Description

With the rapid rise of digital health technologies, e-mental health interventions offer significant opportunities to enhance care options, expand accessibility, and improve the well-being of Veterans and their Families across Canada.

This moderated panel will bring together lived experience, clinical, research, and policy perspectives to discuss the state of the evidence for effective digital interventions, the real-world experiences of Veterans and Family members navigating e-mental health options, strategies to overcome barriers to engagement and implementation, and reflections on future innovations and priorities to ensure e-mental health interventions meet the unique and diverse needs of Canada’s Veteran and Family community.

The following topics will be covered:

  1. Lived Experience & Real-World Impact: Hear directly from a Canadian Veteran and Family member about their first-hand experiences with e-mental health, and ideas on how to support Veterans and Families to engage with e-mental health interventions and resources.
  2. Evidence-Based Clinical Insights: Learn more about what research says about effective e-mental health interventions for the Veteran population, and how a clinician selects and tailors the use of these tools to match patient/client needs.
  3. Access & System-Level Support: Understand the current state of e-mental health care within the broader care landscape in Canada, and how e-mental health interventions can bridge care gaps for underserved or harder to reach populations.
  4. Reimagining Veteran and Family Mental Health Care and Support: Discover insights related to exciting innovations and ideas on how e-mental health care can improve care and care pathways into the future.
